Aukema's fiction has appeared in TriQuarterly, The Iowa Review, North American Review, Seneca Review, Carolina Quarterly, Alaska Quarterly Review, and numerous other journals. In addition to teaching creative writing and serving as Director of the Creative Writing Workshops, Professor Aukema is interested in computer applications in writing, with special emphasis on hypertext and AI-generated fiction and poetry. He is advisor to Coe's nationally-known,

student-edited literary magazine, Coe Review.

Gina Hausknecht, and James Randall are the Writers' Workshop secret weapons. Accomplished and widely published writers, they direct honors and independent projects in creative writing.
